Dr. Ruchika Agarwal is a Ph.D. in Management and holds a Master’s degree in economics from Mumbai University. She has also done Post Graduate diploma in Management (Finance) for which she was awarded gold medal for her outstanding academic performance. She has done certifications in the area of Data Science from HarvardX. She has teaching experience of more than 15 years in the area of finance and economics. Prior to that, she had worked with Evalueserve and CRISIL in the field of equity research and credit ratings. She has also worked as a consultant to an Edutech firm in the area of product development and business marketing and as a financial consultant with an FMCG distributorship firm. She has also presented research papers at both national and international conferences and won Best Paper Awards. She has been awarded Excellence in Education Award 2020 by Agarwal Seva Samiti and "Progressing Women in Finance" Award by Equalifi.
Currently, she is the Area Chair - Entrepreneurship and heading executive programs and MDPs at PDSE&FBM NMIMS.
