Profile

Dr. Akhtar Ali Sayyed is a seasoned academician and researcher with over 18 years of experience in management education, specializing in Marketing and Digital Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing Management with a focus on e-marketing strategies, complemented by an MBA in Marketing and HR Management.

He currently serves as Program Chair (BBA – Management & Marketing) at SVKM’s NMIMS PDSE&FBM, bringing extensive expertise in curriculum development, academic leadership, and student mentoring. Dr. Akhtar has been instrumental in designing industry-aligned programs and fostering experiential learning environments.

He is actively associated with the X-Culture International Business Collaboration Project and has mentored over 570 students since 2013, enhancing global business competencies. His research contributions span digital marketing, Q-commerce, E-marketing strategies, Entrepreneurship, HR practices, and consumer behaviour, with publications in Scopus and ABDC indexed journals.

Dr. Akhtar is committed to bridging academia and industry through innovative pedagogy, global collaborations, and a strong focus on student career development.
