Pravin Dalal School of Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management (PDSE&FBM) organized a workshop for the Innerwheel Club of Bombay Airport Tiara as part of its ongoing commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs. The session was led by Prof. Christine Woods, Dame Theresa Gattung Chair for Women in Entrepreneurship at the University of Auckland Business School. A recognized authority in the field, Prof. Woods brings over 20 years of experience in teaching entrepreneurship at undergraduate and master’s levels, with expertise in women’s entrepreneurship, SMEs, family businesses, social and Māori entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurship education.
The workshop, titled “Idea to Impact: Kick-starting Your Start-up Journey,” was conducted under the SheRise initiative and received high appreciation from participants. More than 55 women entrepreneurs attended, along with core faculty members of PDSE&FBM. The session focused on a structured approach to generating and evaluating entrepreneurial ideas. Participants gained insights into a practical framework for assessing the viability of business opportunities.
