Dr. Mudita Mishra is a communication-management academic, working at the intersection of management, media, and communication. She has worked across teaching and administrative profiles in various higher education institutions in India for over 13 years, including her tenures as programme and specialisation head.
She has taught courses in areas pertaining to digital content, research, academic writing, marketing communications, and organisational behaviour to students across post-graduate and doctoral courses.
She has worked as a member in various collaborative projects with international universities, such as DePaul University Chicago, and Northeastern University, Boston. She has also been a part of the proposal submitting committee that was awarded the SPARC grant by the Government of India in the year 2023.
She has also participated in Ministry of Education’s GIAN programme and other faculty development programmes over the years. Her doctoral research, titled ‘OTT Platforms in India: Developing a Typology of Consumption Experiences’ attempted to engage with digital media ecosystems and consumer practices in contemporary India.
She has presented her research at international forums including International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR), Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC), and International Communication Association (ICA).
